How bad do you want it?

We all want to have or acquire a thing or two. It is our nature as human beings. Everyone has a list of things they'd like to have in life; could be short term or long term, in order to feel complete as human beings.
I'd like to think of myself as a simple person who doesn't want for many things. Like most recently, the number one thing on my list of wants was to go to church. Church is really important for me because I grew up in the church and religion is huge part of me as an individual.
I hadn't been to church for the better part of the begging of the year and I just felt awful about it. So I made the initiative and I went to church between June and August. I didn't miss a Sunday. That was a great time for me spiritually and mentally because I had achieved what I had been wanting for many months.
That motivation kept me going for a long time until I ran out of juice to keep going. I think I've skipped three Sundays now🤦
You see, motivation runs out and you can't get inspiration all the time. You need something more to keep you going even when you don't feel like going anymore. Discipline.
Discipline will remind you that there's work to be done no matter what. Once you are disciplined, it will be normal for you to work or go for the thngs that you want.
Which begs the question, how bad do you want it? It being whatever it is that you wanted. Do you want it bad enough to have sleepless nights and early mornings, just to get it?
If your answer is yes, then developing discipline is the best way to get to that.
I guess my discipline needs more work and so does my resolve. I need to ask myself how bad I want to go to church. Then I need to actually make the initiative and go to church, even if I'm late (as usual).
So today's post didn't have much except to tell you about discipline and inspire you to be disciplined. I hope you feel at least a little bit inspired to keep going.
I'm not completely screwed about my discipline because at least I have become consistent about posting on the blog 🙌 Now all I need is to actually go to church 😇

See you guys tomorrow for #Inmyhead.
